Led by curiosity. Matt is a community minded, artist-adrift, with a peculiar eye for his surroundings. He has studied, created and chased art from an early age. Flanked by both academic and lowbrow ideals, he was raised amongst paintings, books, politics, film and a healthy dose of daytime and evening television. It is this mix of worlds, the awkward and the beautiful, that fuels Matt as an artist today. Mostly working on painting and graphic design, he happily lives and creates in this colorful space where The Twilight Zone and Gilligan's Island intertwine with the painters, illustrators, thinkers and rigmarole of the past and present.
